We are reflecting on the rich history of the iconic Durham Museum. Originally built in 1931 as Omaha’s Union Station, the building served travelers for four decades until passenger operations ended in 1971. Today, the museum preserves that legacy with its stunning architecture and timeless charm.

This winter wedding, planned and designed by Gabi from Unfolding Events, beautifully embraced that history. Vintage-inspired train escort cards were placed perfectly at the foot of the museum’s incredible Christmas tree, while deep jewel tones added warmth throughout the space. The combination of historic architecture, holiday greenery, and thoughtful details created a winter atmosphere that felt both grand and intimate.
